Biography:

Daniel plans on studying particle physics, nuclear physics, cosmology, dark matter and dark energy in their time at Stony Brook. In their free time, Daniel likes to listen to music, play the saxophone and play sports. Before becoming a Simons STEM Scholar, Daniel participated in the Science Honor Society. Daniel is most excited about pursuing his passions, exploring new things, and building meaningful relationships and connections.

Leading the Future:

"I plan to pursue a PhD in Physics and conduct research that challenges our understanding of the universe."

Why did you become a Simons STEM Scholar?:

“I chose to become a Simons STEM Scholar because I wanted to be a part of a strong community filled with amazing people who support and motivate one another.”

What would you say to someone who is applying?:

“There is no better college opportunity than the Simons STEM Scholars program. Through this program, you will gain leadership skills, receive invaluable support and preparation for your future, and build so many relationships early on in your college experience.”
